Las Ruinas De Copan

Hoy llegamos a las 9:30 a.m. a las Ruinas de Copán. Nuestro guía se llamaba Daniel. Hoy he aprendido que, con el carbono 14 podemos saber la edad de un cuerpo. "18 Conejo" fue un gran gobernador, y era muy poderoso. Si no llovía en invierno, los mayas de la clase noble hacían algunos sacrificios, jugando el juego de la pelota. Mientras yo estaba tomando notas de todo lo que el guía estaba diciendo, me di cuenta de que el clima en Copán estaba muy caliente. 


Cuando el guía hablaba, mencionó que en la película "Apocalypto", Mel Gibson hizo que los mayas parecieran una civilización sangrienta. Nos dijo que los aztecas se parecían más a los que representan los mayas en la película. Cuando yo estaba caminando por ahí, escuche que otro guía decía que los arqueólogos no exploraban en algunos templos, porque los ecologistas no querían que algunos árboles que crecían en algunos templos fueran cortados. Entramos en algunos túneles para buscar el templo original "Rosa Lila". Más tarde vimos la réplica del templo Rosa Lila. Finalmente fuimos a ver algunas sepulturas, que se encuentra a dos kilómetros de las ruinas de Copán. 

 Volvimos muy cansados ​​al hotel. A las 5:00 p.m fuimos a la piscina y al jacuzzi. Pasamos una hora para relajarnos y jugar un rato. Más tarde Luis habló sobre el trabajo en grupo, con nosotros. Finalmente fuimos a cenar y nos gustó mucho la comida!

Un loco Primer Día!

Hoy me desperté a las 4:00 am y me fui al Parque Lopez. Cuando llegue al Parque Lopez a las 5:30 de la mañana, pensé que el autobús me había dejado. Cuando vi más profundamente en el interior del parque, vi a Selvyn y me sentí mucho más relajado. Ambar llamó a Selvyn  y le dijo que el autobús tuvo un problema mecánico. Las nuevas noticias eran que el autobús iba a recogernos  a las 8:00 a.m. Todos mis compañeros y el bus llegaron y estabamos listos para el viaje.


Recogimos a Dunia en Yamaranguila. Comimos nuestros bocadillos y disfrutamos reirnos de la  gente que pasaba a un lado del bus. Finalmente llegamos a Gracias Lempira y nos fuimos a Las Aguas Termales. Jugue y nadé mucho en el agua. Grabé algunas frases en las paredes, pero es un secreto! Luis y yo nos encontramos con una araña grande y comenzamos a molestarla. Por último, para deshacerse de nosotros la  araña salió de su nido. Me gustó mucho ese momento con mis compañeros, amigos y maestros!


Más tarde fuimos a almorzar en "Villa De Ada". En primer lugar, fuimos a ver algunos ciervos domesticados y más tarde nos centramos en nuestro objetivo principal, que era el almuerzo. Comimos y después seguimos con nuestro viaje. No sé, pero este viaje sólo me recuerda a una canción, es "Road Trippin" de Red Hot ChilliPeppers. Nos detuvimos a descansar en una gasolinera en Cucuyagua, Copán, y nos dimos cuenta que estábamos cerca de Ocotepeque. Tomamos el camino equivocado a Copán. En ese momento estaba un poco frustrado, pero más tarde ese error se convirtió en algo divertido para nosotros. Viajamos cinco horas más para llegar a Copán Ruinas, por ese error.


Llegamos a Copán a las 9:40 p.m. Le preguntamos a un extraño donde quedaba el "Hotel Azul Marina", y cuando llegamos a ella nos dimos cuenta de que el hotel era muy bonito 
y era cómodo. Fuimos a cenar y comimos baleadas. Estaban deliciosas!

Copan´s Ruins

Today we arrived at 9:30 a.m to Copan´s Ruins. Our guide was named Daniel. Today i learned that, with carbon 14 we can know the age of a body. " 18 Rabbit"  was a great governor  and was very powerful. If it didn´t rain in winter, the Mayans noble class made some sacrifices by playing the ball game. While i was taking notes about all what the guide was saying, i realized that the climate in Copan was very hot.


When the guide was speaking, he mentioned that in the movie "apocalypto", Mel Gibson made Mayas looked like a bloody civilization. He told us that Aztecs looked more like the ones that represented Mayan people in the movie. When i was walking around, i heard that other guide said that arqueologists didn´t work in some temples because ecologists didn´t want that some trees that grew in some temples be cut down. We entered some tunnels to look the original temple "Rosa Lila". Later we saw the replica of the temple Rosa Lila. Finally we went to see some sepultures, that were located two kilometers from Copan´s Ruins.

We returned very tired to the hotel. At 5:00 p.m we went to the pool and the jakuzzi. We spend one hour to relax and play some time with our friends. Later Luis talked about work in group, with us. Finally we went to take dinner and we really enjoyed the food!

One crazy First Day!

Today i woke up at 4:00 a.m and i went to Lopez Park. When i arrived at lopez Park at 5:30 a.m, i thought that the bus left me. When i saw more deeply inside the park, i saw Selvyn and i felt a lot more comfortable. Ambar called Selvyn and told him that the bus had a mechanical problem. The  news were that the bus will come to pick us at 8:00 a.m. All my classmates and the bus arrived and we were ready for the trip.


We picked up, Dunia in Yamaranguila. We ate all our snacks and enjoyed a moment bothering people that passed by. Finally we arrived in Gracias Lempira and we went to, " The Hot Springs". I played and swam a lot in the water. I engraved some phrases on the walls, but shhhhhh its a secret! Luis and i found a big spider and we began to bother it. Finally, to get rid of us the spider left his nest. I really enjoyed that time with my classmates, friends and teachers!


Later we went to have lunch at " Villa De Ada". First, we went to see some domesticated deers and later we focused in our principal topic, that was lunch. We ate and later we kept with our trip. I dont know but, this trip only reminds me to a song; to "Road Tripping" from Red Hot Chilli Peppers. We stopped to rest in a gas station at Cucuyagua, Copan, and we realized that we were near Ocotepeque. We took the wrong way to Copan. In that moment i was a little frustated but later that mistake turned into something fun for us. We traveled five more hours to reach Copan Ruinas because that mistake.


We arrived in Copan at 9:40 p.m. We asked to a stranger the direction of the "Hotel Marina Azul" and when we arrived to it we noticed that the hotel was really nice and was comfortable. We went to have dinner and we ate some baleadas. They were delicious, yummy!
